What everyone asks before starting
Do I need to know how to code or design?
No. You pick your colours, upload your logo and your lessons, and Kosmity builds the site. If you want to change something later, you do it from your dashboard, without touching code.
How do I charge for my courses?
You connect your MercadoPago or PayPal account. Your students pay by card, account balance or the other methods those services offer, and get access as soon as the payment is approved.
Does Kosmity take a cut of my sales?
No. Your students pay you directly. You only pay your plan’s subscription.
Can my students watch on their phone?
Yes. Everything is designed for phones first: the site, the payment and the player, which also remembers where each student left off.
What if my students watch more hours than my plan includes?
We warn you before you reach the limit, and videos keep playing up to 50% over your allowance, so nobody misses a lesson. If you go over two months out of three, we let you know and you move to the next plan from your next invoice.
And if I upload more video than my plan includes?
To upload more you free up space or move to the next plan. What you already uploaded keeps working.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, from the Growth plan up (for example, youracademy.com). On the Starter plan your site lives at youracademy.kosmity.com.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, whenever you want. If you move to a smaller plan nothing is deleted: you just can’t add more until you’re back within the limit.
